Planting the Seeds of an Honest Business
What Coaching Means to Me
This post is about what coaching means to me and what I want my business to be rooted in. As I step into this next chapter, I feel called to build a coaching practice grounded in honesty, authenticity, and heart. I want it to be a space where people can come home to themselves—to the truth of who they are and what they need—and where transformation unfolds through loving awareness.
Earlier today, I was writing about the difference between coaching and therapy. I believe therapy is deeply important; it offers essential support and healing for so many people. But in my own experience, I reached a point where I realized I wanted something a little different, something that invited me to stretch, to take emotional risks, to step into who I was already becoming.
That’s when I found coaching.
I began to notice that what I needed wasn’t more analysis, it was guidance in trusting myself and courage to move toward the life I could feel waiting for me. Coaching gave me that. I left therapy sessions sometimes wishing someone would challenge me to go further, to be bolder. Now I see that’s the kind of space I want to create for others: one where truth and courage meet compassion.
Coming Home to What’s True
Over the past year, I’ve been learning what it means to live honestly—starting with myself. It’s meant slowing down enough to notice my needs, honoring them, and realizing that self-honesty is where all real change begins. That inner awareness has become the foundation for everything I want to bring into my work.
In coaching, I want to offer that same space for others—to rediscover what’s true for them and to act on it with love. When we align our inner truth with our outer life, things start to open in ways that feel freer, more grounded, and deeply alive.
The Power of Living Truthfully
For so long, I believed I needed to be something specific for others in order to be accepted. I thought that’s what made me lovable. But now, I’m realizing that living truthfully is what brings real harmony into the world.
When we express ourselves with honesty and care, we naturally create more compassion around us. It all begins within: Am I honoring myself? Do I believe in my worth? Am I meeting myself with kindness? These are the questions that lead to genuine fulfillment.
The Heart of My Work
As I plant the seeds of my business, I want my work to stay rooted in heartfelt honesty. Sometimes that will mean being bold. Sometimes it will feel tender or vulnerable. But I believe that this is my gift: to meet people in truth, to help them uncover what’s already within them, and to move forward with loving clarity toward the life their soul is asking for.
Today, I plant the seeds of an honest business—one built on authenticity, compassion, and deep human connection. I trust that from these seeds will grow something beautiful: flowers, fruit, and the quiet joy that comes from living a life that feels true.
A Closing Note
If these words resonate with you, I’m so glad you’re here. This is the kind of work I hope to keep sharing—reflections, insights, and real stories about what it means to live and lead from the heart. I’m still in the early stages of building this business, but the vision is clear: honest, soul-centered coaching that helps people come home to themselves.
